WOM 1 meets on a Monday at 2:00 P.M.  However, they will not be meeting again until spring.

WMU2 meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church, Sonora.

Our group needs flexibility due to the busy lifestyles of the women in Baptist Young Women.  We are flexible on our meeting dates and we take turns hosting the meetings at our homes.  We have lots of fun and our group includes women from other churches.  We consider ourselves young no matter what our ages are. 

May's meeting was at the church.  Everyone provided a healthy variety of delicious foods!  10 ladies attended the meeting.

 We had numerous prayer requests and Sheryl did prayer patterns using the verbs from Psalms 139:13-16. 

Deb gave the lesson, "Completed Love" and "Who Am I?" also using Psalms 139. 

Mission projects remain the same with the exception of May being our VBS tree, which I think means the donations for Spring Haven will be in June.  So grab a leaf from the tree to donate for our VBS. 

Old and New business was all about the Louisville WOJ conference and what a great time was had by the 8 ladies who went. 

We discussed the May 17th WOW conference as well as the Beth Moore one in August. We still have a few reservations open for May, so if you are interested please let Deb or Cindy know as soon as possible.

We decided to meet on Thursdays in May at the church for a Beth Moore Video series on Wising Up from Proverbs.  The first three sessions will be on May 13th, 20th, and 27th.  The Wising Up topics will be for ADULT WOMEN ONLY!!!!  We will start at 6:30 and the video will last about an hour and a half. Be sure to invite your friends as the series looks to be great.  There is no book and no homework so plan to join us for these lessons from Beth Moore. We will skip the month of June and pick up with more of the series in July.

Suzy will be hosting and Cindy will have the lesson for our June meeting.   The meeting will be at Suzy's house on June 21st at 7:00 p.m.

Our July meeting will be at Alicia's house with MaryAnn giving the lesson.

August's meeting will be at the church hosted by Linda Studeville and Linda Winfrey with lesson given by Sheryl.

Don't forget to grab a leaf from the VBS tree downstairs to help out with needed materials.

WE HAVE BEEN LEARNING ABOUT MISSIONARIES FROM CENTRAL ASIA AND  VERMONT IN THE USA.  WE LEARNED ABOUT  GOD'S LOVE THROUGH PLAYING BASEBALL AND MADE A  "HOUSE CHURCH".  WE  PRAISE GOD THROUGH THE GAMES WE PLAY, THE  SNACKS, SINGING, PRAYING, CRAFTS AND GETTING TO KNOW ABOUT EACH OTHER.
